Bommari’s climbing wall is located at the air raid shelter at Rakennustalo-building. The easiest way to get there is by Rakennustalo’s elevator. The bouldering wall is at the tatami-area, where you can get by going at the end of the ramp at Rakennustalo’s side and continuing to the other end of floorball courts to the red doors. The climbing wall is just at the other side of these doors.
The facility has multiple climbing walls. The main wall is a three part bouldering wall which can be adjusted between 10 and 60 degrees. The walls must not be adjusted without proper instruction! If you want to be shown how to adjust them, contact the board or ask around in the Telegram group.
There are usually some color coded routes and even more routes that are made in spraywall style. The spraywall routes are mainly listed on the boardclimbs.com site. You can create an account on there and add your own routes! There are also some routes listed on the Bommari Telegram group, which you can find a link for in the Tekiila Telegram group’s description.
The walls are usually reset for the PJ challenge event held during November/December. After this event, the spraywall is set and custom routes start to accumulate.
In addition to the adjustable wall there is also a roof climbing wall. The routes on that wall are usually somewhat more difficult than on the main wall. The roof section also has a hangboard you can use.
There are also two gear cabints in Bommari. The leftmost one can be opened with Tekiila’s key and the middle one’s key is in the first cabinet. The cabinet has some climbing shoes and chalk you can borrow.
