Instructions for becoming a member
Any person that is a member of the Tampere Universities community can become an proper member of Tekiila.
Any person that isn’t eligible to join as an proper member, can join as a supportive member.
Membership fee is valid for the academic year of the time of payment. You also need to fill the membership information collection form found under the payment information.

Tekiila will not give your information to 3rd parties. Please read the membership registry description before registering (in Finnish, required by EU registry laws. Ask the board for any additional information).
E-mail list
Tekiila has a mailing list that informs members of upcoming excursions and climbing-related events. Members will be added and removed to and from this list automatically.
Key
Tekiila has equipment lockers in Bommari and Tamppi Areena. The lockers contain equipment for climbing and also a tool for adjusting the Bommari wall’s inclination. If you want to acquire the key for the locker, you will have to follow the instructions.
The key is personal and cannot be given to other people.
Getting a new key:
- Your membership fee has to be valid
- Pay the key fee 10 € to Tekiila’s bank account (IBAN: FI08 5730 0821 6498 58 and BIC: OKOYFIHH) with reference number 6677
- Inform the key responsible via e-mail, that you have paid the key fee and want to come get the key
- Fill the acquire key -form
- Agree on the time and place with the key responsible to get the key
The key fee is not a pledge, the money is not given back. (You can return the key if you want when you have no use for it anymore)
