Welcome to the Climbing club Tekiila’s beginner’s course! The course lasts approximately 4-5 hours and includes a short theory section, basic training, and a practical section where you will climb. The course teaches how to tie a figure-eight knot, top rope belaying, and other information and skills necessary for independent top rope climbing indoors. Course participants will receive a small information package about climbing in general.
By registering for the course, you will receive information about the next course to be held. Courses are held when there are enough registrants, with a target of 3-9 participants per course. The date will be decided together with the registrants, so filling out the form does not commit you to anything yet. The course fee is €20 for students of the Tampere University community and €50 for others, and it includes the club’s regular or supporting membership fee for the current membership period, as well as the loan of the necessary equipment for the duration of the course.

Please note that the climbing wall is part of SportUni’s facilities, so you must be a member of SportUni or pay a one-time fee when you come to the course.
